A Troup County Surprise

High school football season is still a ways away, but one high school football player got a pleasant surprise at practice.

Troup County sophomore linebacker Quenton Kersey never expected his brother to show up and surprise him. That’s because his brother Robert has been deployed in the Persian Gulf on active military duty. Robert Kersey serves in the Navy as a Petty Officer Third Class. The two Kersey brothers have not seen each other since 2013. Their mom, dad, grandfather and other friends and family members were on hand to witness the two embrace.
